What to do after Career Fair
There are a couple things we recommend doing after Career Fair to leave a good impression and help yourself stand out from other candidates who may be applying for the same positions.
Tip #1 Stay front of mind.
- Thank you email: Personal email referencing something from your conversation and recapping what your goal is (and attach your resume).
- LinkedIn: Connect on LinkedIn, and customize the note for your top companies with a "thanks for your time" message.
- 1-2 weeks later: Personal email expressing interest.
- Following weeks: LinkedIn connection messages to alums at the organization to build your network.
