University of Notre Dame
2022 Fall Career Fair Week - Information for Employers
This Fall, the University of Notre Dame continues its “something for everyone" hybrid model, and collective effort to incorporate both virtual and in-person career fair events. One registration = access to all events. The Meruelo Family Center for Career Development uses a multi-faceted approach in collaboration with campus departments, industry partners, and student groups to provide employers with multiple ways to meet our talented students.
(PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION FOR THE CAREER FAIR WEEK EVENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN HANDSHAKE AT THE BEGINNING OF AUGUST.)
Undergraduate and graduate students from all class levels and academic colleges are invited to participate in this campus-wide virtual fair hosted on Handshake to meet individually and/or in group presentations with employers from a variety of industries.
The Sustainability Expo provides all undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Notre Dame the opportunity to connect with employers, community leaders, educators, and researchers about professional development opportunities in energy, the environment, and other sustainability areas. Opportunities include job openings, internships, academic programs, experiential and service learning programs, research projects, and more. This strategic networking opportunity is hosted in partnership with the Center for Sustainable Energy at Notre Dame (ND Energy); John J. Reilly Center for Science, Technology, and Values; Notre Dame Environmental Change Initiative (ND-ECI), and Minor in Sustainability.
The Engineering Industry Day is in collaboration with Notre Dame's student-led Engineering Leadership Council. This annual event is the perfect opportunity for engineering firms and employers seeking students with technical skills to meet directly with hundreds of Notre Dame engineering students from all disciplines (Aerospace, Biomolecular, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Earth Sciences, Electrical, Environmental, and Mechanical).
Marketing Meet the Firms provides employers an opportunity to share a broad range of positions in marketing-related roles. Employers from all industries are welcome to attend this intimate gathering focused on recruiting students interested in the marketing industry, and related areas (including, but not limited to, advertising/PR, sales, consumer, digital, retail, high tech, industrial, and more). Meet with interested students (not just declared marketing majors) to learn about the value they can bring you in a summer internship or full-time position. This event is through collaboration with the Notre Dame Marketing Club.
The Analytics, Tech, and Innovation Fair invites employers interested in meeting and hiring Notre Dame students from all colleges with IT, data/analytics, and technology-related backgrounds. This is an exciting networking event presented in partnership with the Department of Information Technology, Analytics, and Operations (ITAO) in the Mendoza College of Business.
Accounting & Finance Meet the Firms provides employers an opportunity to share both summer internships and full-time positions with Notre Dame students. Meet with students who have an interest in both public and private accounting firms. This annual networking event is hosted in partnership with the Notre Dame chapter of Beta Alpha Psi.
Are you interested in helping Notre Dame students maximize their first Career Fair experience? First Fair Prep Night occurs the night before the All-Colleges Career Fair and is designed to provide students with an advanced look at the career fair layout, an opportunity to ask questions on how to best navigate the fair for the first time, and practice their personal introduction while receiving feedback from a select group of employers and recruiters during this engaging event. This event has limited attendance and is a great way to meet first-generation college students.
Employers from all industries who are committed to hiring doctoral and non-business master’s students from academic programs including engineering, sciences, humanities, social sciences, and more are invited to attend this unique networking breakfast. Employers will have the opportunity to meet with Notre Dame Graduate School leadership, faculty, and students. Breakfast will be provided.
Employers who are committed to hiring Notre Dame students from many majors and colleges are invited to attend our annual, All-Colleges Career Fair. This in-person event is located on the 7th and 8th floors of the Dahnke Ballroom, inside Duncan Student Center. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to recruit for both full-time, and paid internship positions. Last semester, more than 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students from all areas attended our Fall Semester Career Fair.
The Center for Career Development provides and hosts on-campus interview space for employers to interview students.
Attire for all events is business casual.
Registration for the In-Person Career Fair on September 13, 2022, includes access to the Virtual Career Fair on Sept. 8 and the events surrounding the all colleges fair on September 12 & 13. A separate registration in Handshake is required for our virtual fair.
