    • Advice for students: Business and finance in particular is more about human behavior than numbers. Read the classics, take a few classes in psychology and human behavior, and definitely take a course or two covering negotiating and project management. Employers hire people who can get the job done; the spreadsheet modeling and DCF skills can always be taught.

I work with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers as well as architects and project managers, to support the design and construction of new buildings. A lot of the buildings David designs are heavier on the engineering side.

The first station he worked at after graduation was KPTM-TV, the Fox affiliate in Omaha, Nebraska. He subsequently reported for KETV in Omaha, KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City and WFLD-TV Fox News Chicago. After his tenure at Fox ended, Kevein transitioned to a career in sales and marketing; a career path which still relies heavily on his journalism background.
